That’s the controversy.

But the Bible agrees with Shane Gillis.

Proverbs 7:10 reads, “And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.”

When Solomon described a woman as having “the attire of a Harlot,” he didn’t have to explain.

Everyone knows how whores dress.

If Shane Gillis is in error for saying a woman “dresses like a whore,” he’s innocently describing something that every person - from Solomon’s day to ours knows intuitively.

Whores have a certain way of dressing.

Solomon did not go on to lecture that you’re a pervert if you notice a woman wearing a harlot’s attire has on a harlot’s attire.

Nobody complained that Solomon was demeaning women.

No army of White Knights attacked him for speaking candidly about a known phenomenon in which whores and ladies dress differently.

Men hate it.

Men hate it because it’s a visual reminder of how many women have whored their way out of the marriage pool.

That’s part of the frustration.

There aren't enough marriageable women in this country to meet the demand of marriageable men.

It’s a tough market.

Sure, whores are there to look at (but don’t).

But nobody wants to marry one.

And men, very much, want to be married.

But they don’t want women who have had another man’s babies.

They don’t want women who have lost their value one lover at a time, because no man wants to feel like a woman’s leftover, fermented wild oats.

They just don’t.

Imagine that.

The feminist movement has turned women into women who no man wants to own.

They only want to rent them and get their deposit back.

The women men actually want to marry are already rare, and booty-hugging, cleavage-displaying wardrobe choices are a constant reminder to already-lonely men that their chance of finding a woman without a hoe phase is getting more difficult by the day.

It also reminds us that women have lost their common sense, moral virtue, and modesty.

Therefore, it shows exactly how much the women’s liberation movement has turned the world’s most precious resource into spoiled goods.

And nobody wants to think about the collapse of our civilization while trying to get a pump on.

We aren’t recommending you berate women out loud at the gym.

But perhaps if we whisper under our breath “gross” loud enough for unchaste women to hear when we walk by, it could send the necessary message.

Because it is gross, i.e., “invoking distaste or repulsion.”

It’s not attractive.

It’s repellent.

Gillis’s joke punctured the barrier between what we all think and what we all say.

The response revealed how much women hate being reminded of what they’ve done to themselves. They thought this whole time they were being cute.

It turns out, they were just acutely whorish.

That’s a hard reality to wake up to mid-SNL performance, and it’s easier to attack the messenger than swallow the truth.
