I’ll always hold the years of Aqueduct @TheNYRA forever. From being a young racing fan (16th birthday at Equestris Restaurant), the Saturday’s with Dad in the stands, Marshall Cassidy, The King of Aqueduct King’s Swan and Angel Cordero, Jr., Dominating Dooley (1982 G.3 Pilgrim Stakes-3rd). The Inaugural NYRA Mile. Out of @StJohnsU working in the Press Office/Box (for Steve Schwartz and Glen Mathis), stats, morning lines and microfiche. Shirley Day Smith & Charlotte. And later getting to call the Winter meet when Tom Durkin went South. The Dean of Chart Callers Jack Wilson @DailyRacingForm, Jack Kelly, @Mike_Watchmaker, @DRFDunleavy, Gary Nelson and Trevor. The late John Piesen @nypost, @DRFGrening, @johnpricci, @BillFinley3 & NYRA @suefinley, Clyde Hirt, “Call!,” @JohnDaSilva, Paul Moran, Jeff Mende @silivedotcom, Richie McCarthy and Danny. Standing behind Steve Crist and Andy Beyer with 1 MTP at the betting window. The late Dave Litfin. Doing Thoroughbred Action with Harvey Park was always cool. Chart books and the photo room. With lifelong friends @Barn63Forever, @CBredar made. Farewell, #TheBigA
It’s been a joy & privilege to call this a job & I can’t thank @FanDuel_Racing enough for giving me the opportunity to travel the world for them- from Dubai to Australia & California.
There is so much more I could say but I thought I’d leave it with where it all stated with @ScottFDTV back in 2019 ❤️🥹
No jockey made more trips to the Aqueduct winner’s circle than Richie Migliore.
A look back at some of @mig4450's highlights at The Big A, where he earned 2,238 wins, more than any rider in the track’s history. ⤵️
As Aqueduct celebrates its final day of racing, we look back at the track announcers whose calls helped bring generations of unforgettable moments to life.
The Kentucky team of @PascaleOnAir, @CBredar, & @MattCTVG give their thanks and say their final farewells as they close this chapter at FanDuel TV.
A legend of the @FanDuel_Racing Family, and employee of 27 years:
@CalebFDTV with the one & only Steve Niles ♥️
One of the absolute most dedicated, hardest working people I've ever met
After 21 years @FanDuel_Racing (formerly #TVG), today will mark my last day on the network. As a horse trainer for 14 years with literally zero “on-air” experience, I could’ve never imagined my broadcasting career would evolve and remain into 2026! For that, I am humbled and forever grateful. 🙏
Thank you to the powers-that-be who took a chance on me, with a Salute to those individuals behind the scenes, the producers, directors, camera operators, master control, etc. who went above and beyond to make it all work seamlessly.☝️
I am most appreciative of the
horseplayer, the horse owner and breeder, and even the casual viewer. The best part of my “job” was getting to know so many of you both on and off the air, with some on a more personal level. Needless to say, it was interactive television at its finest! And, knowing that my mom was watching, made being on TV all the more special. 🫡
To my colleagues, former and present, I will cherish the countless memories spent together both in and out of studio, thank you for your support and friendship. Sending blessings for each of you to land on your feet.💙
Here’s to the future of horse racing; until next time, I hope to see you in the Winners’ Circle, Godspeed. 🎤
The final race in Aqueduct history goes to ASSUME NOTHING.
Jaime Rodriguez was up for trainer Jamie Ness, closing the book on more than 130 years of racing at The Big A.
Richie Migliore takes in Aqueduct one last time, honoring the fans, the history, and the racetrack that meant so much to so many.
Thank you for the memories Aqueduct 🩵
I was holding it together until @CBredar started crying, and then the hug of these two originals sent me over. Love goes out to all of my TVG/FD friends…
The MOST prepared, most fun, most affable, and most intellectually interesting individual I have ever worked with in my life. It was an honor and a pleasure to have worked with Matty for 16 years. Enjoyed every second of it. Much love & respect to you my friend. @MattCTVG 😊👊🏿❤️
This is heartbreaking @icecoldexacta. I will really miss being able to watch @FanDuel_Racing. I have been watching this and TVG everyday for so many years.
