The lack of A/C here is crazy. Last week/end was crazy hot and inside was worse. My first hotel, we didn’t think to look for A/C coming from the states, but all of our next hotels is the first thing we look for. No stores carry decent fans either. All the A/Cs you buy here are heat pumps and very inexpensive, so I am not sure what the deal is. They have solar everywhere, so having a few panels to power a unit when it is hot would have zero impact on monthly bills after the initial purchase. If you aren’t used to using it and only need it when it is hot and sunny, it will have enough juice to run without grid.

These are the ramblings of a man who hasn’t had a good nights sleep in a week due to lack of A/C or a good fan in Europe on vacation.. 😆

After a few days of driving my ICE rental 2025 BMW X7, I have noticed a couple differences in my driving.

Main one is I don’t pass.. even with the M performance package, it feels like a 4 cylinder compared to the Ford Lightning. I have no way to judge how long it will take me to get around another car on these narrow Polish roads, so I don’t even try.

I don’t think I can own another ICE vehicle or a slow response EV again.
