Systematic review found that dry cupping for treating musculoskeletal pain compared to placebo is very uncertain.
On a professional and personal note, cupping is a pseudoscience. I would not expect high-quality studies to alter that conclusion. Let us not promote pseudoscience, folks. Put the cups down.
