git's "blame.ignoreRevsFile" config option is a nice hidden gem. It lets you ignore bulk changes (e.g. style and line ending changes) while looking at a file's history to help find the real source of a change. Would be helpful if sites like @github also supported it.

About 10 years ago, I researched the math behind securely splitting secrets and wrote an open-source prototype of the idea. Unfortunately, someone took my code and created a malicious version of the Moserware.SecretSplitter.dll in a malware that has been dubbed "Moserpass"

by @csis_cyber. It's unfortunate that my last name and DLL are associated with this malware. I have no connection to it other than my prototype code was open-source and apparently has been used by a commercial product (that I didn't know existed until earlier today).

The Apollo 11 Guidance Computer used Verb-Noun commands (sort of like a 1960's PowerShell) except that the verbs and nouns were both numbers (presumably to keep the keyboard small). (h/t #13MinutesToTheMoon episode 5)

@JadeMason Yeah, security is a big concern. Home+office scenario is easier due to more trusted devices. Would be nice to have productivity of multiple large screens while traveling though.
