@gunz1974@clownworld They blame the item so they can vilify it.
They vilify it so they can restrict it.
They restrict it so they can ban it.
They ban it so they can kill you easier.
Understand now?
@CarderScot15979@CNviolations The build quality today is typically a lot worse though. That offsets a lot of what youโve pointed out.
I owned a 1940 house for a time. Yes it had some issues - but only as a result of poor / cheap maintenance over the years. The house itself was very stout and well-built.
@CNviolations The houses arenโt worth more - the money is worth less.
Thqt said, the build quality of older houses is typically far better than those built today despite having regulations and rules about anything and everything, which didnโt exist back then.
@CNviolations Worked with a guy who purchased his degree credential in China. This is apparently common there for people who have the money - pay off so-and-so at a university and they'll just hand it to you.
I presume he passed the PE exam by cheating; the guy was totally incompetent.
@TheFigen_ Not jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.
Iโve flown aerobatics so have been trained on chute use and have worn them while flying (as required by regs). But Iโve never had to actually use one, thankfully.
No desire to. Iโll stick to actually flying the plane.
@EricLDaugh We have much more in common with the Russian people than most realize. If we could get on good terms with Russia it would be fantastic for both nations and the world.
@OhioNakamoto@Geiger_Capital I thank the Good Lord often that he gave us a chance at being a great nation once again and that we were spared from that raging, drunken dumpster fire (and probably being dragged into a war). ๐๐ฝ
