Can’t say enough good things about Barb. Had a positive impact on everyone that came into the office. Years after I graduated from Marquette, she’d still reach out to check in. One of the most amazing people I’ve ever had the privilege to meet and work with.
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of former men’s basketball administrator Barb Kellaher on May 28th.
Barb was the heart and soul of the Marquette men’s basketball program for more than two decades. Her radiant, welcoming and generous spirit impacted generations of Marquette student-athletes, coaches and staff members, as well as countless others around the program. Every interaction with Barb had a way of becoming a lasting memory. Her love for her family, above all, and for the program and its people, was always clear, and those memories will remain a part of Marquette Basketball forever.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Rich, Allison, Brooke, Lauren, and their extended family during this difficult time.
RIP Barb. I honestly can’t say enough good things about you. You were one of the greatest people I ever had the privilege to know. You meant a great deal to every player, manager, coach, and office worker.

It’s with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Executive Director, leader, and friend, Johann, who lost his courageous battle with brain cancer.
Johann’s energy, compassion, and positivity shaped much of who we are at SLYSA. Over the past seven months, we’ve watched him fight with incredible strength and grace.
Johann was so deeply involved in growing the youth soccer community, where his leadership, kindness, and love for the game touched so many lives both on and off the field.
Our hearts are with his family, friends, staff and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Johann’s legacy will live on in the people and communities he cared for so deeply.
Rest easy, Johann — you’ll always be part of our SLYSA family, on and off the field. 🇮🇸💙⚽
Been to 15 stadiums, some more than once. This is the first #allforcity away game I’ve seen us win since our very first one in Austin. I was getting worried it was me.
