Last week was huge at Great Sky. We got our first programmable superconducting neural networks up and running! In the first use case, they were classifying small images, but a wide variety of models can be programmed on the chip.
It was great to spend the day at Brookhaven National Lab with Shinjae Yoo as the DOE announced the next steps in the Genesis Mission. There are so many opportunities for Great Sky to advance to objectives of the DOE!
.@GreatSkyAI just emerged from stealth w/ $14M Seed funding to provide >1,000,000x faster hardware for AI inference.
@JeffShainline & team spent the past decade at NIST re-designing AI hardware from first principles 🧵

What is the bedrock foundation of intelligence? What are the weight-bearing pillars? Which hardware building blocks are best equipped to construct an edifice that approaches the physical limits of cognition? These are some of the questions @GreatSkyAI is asking.
