@mattzollerseitz I’d have liked Rook as another version of Andy - he’d get to see himself in an “upgrade” that manipulates him against his original programming, and it doubles down on the disposability of androids AND people under the Company. And more of David Jonsson’s performance as well…
I grew up watching all of the Faerie Tale Theater shows she helped produce, not to mention POPEYE (no one else could ever play Olive Oyl). Then THE SHINING, and NASHVILLE once I got older. RIP.
ALIEN: ISOLATION is my favorite game ever. After I beat it a few times, I set the difficulty low just to wander around Sevastopol Station. #alienisolation
And it scares the hell out of me every time I play because no two experiences are the same.
Tonight is the #alienisolation unofficial reunion. The ten year anniversary.
I've heard that these guys really feed on retweets and likes from people who enjoyed the game.
Sevastopol lives. Let 'em hear some love.
As a xennial, I’ll embrace my Millenial side by running GIFs into the ground. And I’m embracing my X’er side by not giving a fuck how any of you feel about it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thinking about Robert Towne this AM, and I keep returning to ASK THE DUST. Maybe not a masterpiece but very few films feel as authentic in a time and place - no one was more authentically Southern Californian than Towne. Thank you for CHINATOWN, sir. RIP.
With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away. I personally think one of the most important actors in the history of film. Never daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly. He loved what he did and did what he loved, and one can never ask for more than that. A life well lived.
