I spent some time at the Dr Pepper Museum in Waco this past weekend and unexpectedly stumbled across a piece of home, Crazy Water from Mineral Wells, Texas.

As a Mineral Wells native, and proud Mineral Wells ISD graduate, seeing a piece of my hometown’s history featured in the museum was a pretty special moment.

I’ve always been drawn to history, social studies, politics, and the stories behind communities, brands, and traditions. There’s something powerful about seeing how places shape people… and how those stories continue to travel far beyond where they started.

Maybe it’s no surprise someone in communications gets excited over museum exhibits and hometown history. Sometimes the best stories are the personal ones. #RamPride
