Now when Canada boos after an annexation threat, you wanna play victim?
@aKoztic@Framchise Which is why I mentioned that Texas itself is bigger than England. Just down the street from Stamford Bridge is another stadium. There are too many stadiums in such a small country.
@dbkdraft@Framchise Only one high school stadium in Texas has a 20,000 stadium. Chelsea's is over 40,000 and England has over 39 20,000 seat stadiums. The tweet below is wrong. They don't average it. Not even close.
And Chelsea's stadium is ugly because it was built in the 1800s.
@aKoztic@Framchise Only one high school in Texas has a stadium that's 20k. There are 39 in England that have over 20k So the other person was wrong.
Also, I bring up relegation because if a team gets relegated, they can't afford the upkeep of a 60k seat stadium.
@dbkdraft@Framchise Not everyone in the state is a fan of football, but those who are will be a fan of a team from their own state. Only one high school stadium holds 20,000. There are less than 20 stadiums in general in Texas that hold more. England has 39 that hold more than 20,000.
@dbkdraft@Framchise Why would a country with a small population have enough seats in a stadium was a country with 5x the population?
Even if we compare it to just Texas, everyone in the state will be a Texas fan. In England, you're going to have fans of different teams.
@dbkdraft@Framchise Are you aware of where Stamford bridge is? It was built in 1876 and is located 5 minutes away from another stadium in the Premier League. It's also surrounded train tracks on two sides and a row of buildings. There are only two small spaces to squeeze people in to enter it.
