It's been 2 months since I had the chance to look for Peregrine Falcons.Checked that off today when I walked up to the edge of the cliff high above the Hudson River & had 3 eventually fly up near me. Fun birds to photograph. Love it when they give you 'the look' as they zoom by

9/20-HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY to Les Snow, who would have turned 101 years old today. Snow, of Bloomington, Illinois, won a 500-lap ARCA race at Eldora in 1966. Snow passed away in 1987 at 61 years old.

I knew it came from the aviation industry, but, I didn't know who invented it, let alone, that that person's name was actually "Dzus." Lol, I've never worked on an airplane, but these make working on a race car, sooooo much easier!!!

Legendary Flagman William "Tex" Enright
- I saw "Tex" Enright flag an early Super Dirt Week satellite race @ Weedsport NY Speedway, he put on quite the show!
- His son Jerry Enright (1964 - 2026) also served as starter/flagman @ the Orange County Fair NY Speedway for many years.
