Times have changed a little bit. Found this while doing some cleaning. I was 11 and upset that I got two of the same card in a pack of hockey cards, so I wrote a letter to @Topps. This is what they sent back. I remember in the bunch of cards they sent, they included a double.

Last week we showed you the 10,659 hats we collected this year. We tallied up the miles they travelled. They were shipped to 48 states covering 121,252 miles! Thank you everyone for a wonderful Hatsgiving season.
We had a couple of new requests for hats, so our total for the season grew. 10,659 hats! Thanks to your donations, we provided more hats to kids with cancer than ever before. Those hats went to 105 hospitals, cancer centers, and community groups that help kids with cancer.
Saw him in-person at a game in Worcester. He connected with a fan and signed a puck with a special message to them. It was quite moving. Love seeing this.
