@WhiteHouse So instead of spending $2.8 trillion we don’t have like we did last year, we’re “only” going to spend $1.3 trillion we don’t have this year. I am glad that number is decreasing, but now is not the time to congratulate ourselves. We have so much further to go.

In contrast, I know of no one (either friends or “friends of friends”) who has had serious problems with the vaccine.

@SylvesterTurner I'm not opposed to the idea, but metal detectors do no good unless a perimeter is established around the campus with every entry point secured. We'd need enough machines and personnel to screen every student (2000+ at my daughter's school) every morning. Is this feasible?
