- Everything falls on you (good, bad, in between)
- Easy to start harder to scale
- Not recurring is tough, staffing is more capital intensive but the margins on DP are pretty sweet
- It’s a lifestyle not a job, working on weekends/vaca but you get used to it

- Make your own schedule
- Making your own money feels better (not sure why)
- Usually make more money, any decent recruiter should be able to bill $200k+/year

How have we not figured out a better system than this? Will never forget working at a big staffing agency paying a sponsor $100/hour and found out he paid the candidate $20/hour.

Trump just killed the H1B visa.

Companies now have to pay $100K per year to bring foreign hi-skilled workers to the U.S.

This will dissuade them from doing so, some jobs will be offshored.

For Indian techies, the American dream just got killed.
