@editblog@Loupedeck Don’t make me buy something else!
Ok, good to know, I hope what I’m seeing is just a software glitch that will eventually be addressed by @elgato
@editblog Hey! I got a StreamDeck+ and I love it, but using the Wave Link software to control different app volumes has been tricky. The longer the app is open, the buggier it gets. Lots of signal lag, inability to control apps, etc. Did you ever see any of this?
@robclark I run one of these and it’s awesome since I have so many data needy drives and devices. One TB4 cable is all I need to push my ProDisplay XDR, 8 TB SSD, DAC and second USB C monitor. https://t.co/t4qAQcsRZA
@culturedcode Hey CC! I was curious if you have any plans/thoughts around adding a focus timer option? Something that could trigger a Shortcut or turn on a Focus mode in the OS? So many timer apps are poor GTD, but Things has that on lock. Thanks for the YEARS of hard work!👊🏻
New work: Very privileged to have worked with @braintrust to edit this piece for the US Open on ESPN and the legendary Williams sisters. https://t.co/EVxxtmvwOG
@editblog Agreed. If it had an ability to move the proxies automatically from it’s generated location to another location (say a Dropbox or Frame watch folder) that’d be awesome
Rogue One is criminally underrated. I feel if it had the luxury of spreading the same story over 3 hours or even two features, it would have been met with so much more love. I would have really enjoyed spending more time with these characters.
While this is technically true (you could duplicate exact edits across any NLE) it is also wildly inaccurate. The workflow and tools available to specific NLEs absolutely influence the decisions editors make. Human element will always exert major influence depending on experience
@ChristianGlawe It’s taken a while, but I’m at a better place now where I can trust my own skills and appreciate the different visions for each project. 3/3
@ChristianGlawe And then I’ve also worked at an agency where I regularly shipped V1 or V2s as final. That gave me an ego and an expectation that any notes of substance equalled failure on my part. 2/3
@ChristianGlawe So I’ve been editing for 23 years and I’ve seen both ends of this process. I worked at a studio where the producer would hover over my shoulder and want to see and approve every step of the process. I had no confidence in my own ability after leaving that place. (1/2)
