Russian strikes on Ukraine do not stop, despite their propaganda claims. Every day and every night, nearly a hundred or more drones are launched, along with ongoing missile attacks. With each such launch, the Russians expose to the world their true attitude towards peace.

Yet always—even under the most difficult conditions—our people can count on the immediate support of the State Emergency Service personnel, police officers, medics, utility workers, and all those who help to clear the rubble, extinguish fires, restore the destroyed, and most importantly, save and protect lives.

Last night, the Russians launched nearly 200 "Shahed" drones and decoy UAVs. A massive attack on the Kirovohrad region left 10 people wounded, including four children, and caused damage to homes, a church, and infrastructure.

I thank everyone who works on the ground and helps to eliminate the consequences of Russian terror. We thank those who are always on duty, at the forefront of saving lives. Everyone whose work is a pillar of strength for all of us, something that allows us to continue fighting and living, no matter what.

Rescue operations are currently underway in Odesa following another Russian strike on the city's energy infrastructure. Once again, civilian energy facilities have been targeted – for nearly three years now, the Russian army has relentlessly used missiles and attack drones against them.

Just yesterday, after the notorious meeting in Riyadh, it became clear that Russian representatives were once again lying, claiming they do not target Ukraine’s energy sector. Yet, almost simultaneously, they launched another attack, with drones striking electrical transformers. And this is during winter – it was minus 6 degrees Celsius at night.

At least 160,000 Odesa residents are now without heat and electricity. Thirteen schools, a kindergarten, and several hospitals have also been left without power or heating. Repair crews are working tirelessly, and all municipal services are engaged. I am grateful to every rescuer and to everyone helping people.

We must never forget that Russia is ruled by pathological liars – they cannot be trusted and must be pressured. For the sake of peace.

Today marks six months of the Kursk operation. With our active operations on Russian territory, we have brought the war home to Russia. That is where they must feel what war truly means. And they do.

This poses a threat to everyone, especially to every nation in East Asia.

1/ After 45 Hong Kong pro-democracy activists were jailed for up to 10 years on Tuesday over their roles in an unofficial primary election, a woman who held up a sign outside the courthouse that read “Righteous people live, villains must die” was taken into a police van.
