Jeffco ESPs who keep our schools running are skipping healthcare and working multiple jobs, often living paycheck to paycheck.
Meanwhile, administrators are threatening to cut jobs, all while they gave themselves a raise. If that’s not a values test, what is?
@bobgcolorado We were told Dorland is not getting this raise - per Mary Parker. But their msging this morning is they are just giving admin what they have offered us. So they like this equality messaging.
Also how is anyone getting it without a board vote?
We are posting on our threads account at our joint bargaining session today with JCEA.
The district awarded themselves on average $4600 while threatening to cut our jobs. While many ESPs STILL are not step eligible .
Not the same.
Hey administrators: your attacks on Alex are giving that you are more concerned about the principal’s hurt feelings than the student who was put at risk. https://t.co/yKYKIbVnnC
.@govofco will soon see the most pro-union piece of labor law in a century on his desk (Worker Protection Act).

@suzieglassman In @JeffcoSchoolsCo the move of 6th graders to MS has been disastrous for the 6th graders, plus moving those kids out of ESs means fewer kids in ES buildings and hastens the closure of even more ESs.
At a time when unlawful federal actions threaten the livelihoods and bargaining rights of workers across the US, Colorado workers are asking @GovofCO@jaredpolis: Whose side are you on?
Call him & tell him to sign✍️ the Worker Protection Act: 303-866-2885 #copolitics#coleg
