I'm proud to be standing for the Liberal Democrats in Beckenham Town and Copers Cope, in the the 7 May elections to the London Borough of Bromley, alongside Gita Bapat and Councillor Chloe-Jane Ross.
Promoted by Bromley Liberal Democrats, 7 Station Road, Orpington BR6 0RZ.
We had a busy weekend out speaking with residents. Lots of support for the Lib Dems, and others willing to lend their vote to stop the Conservatives/Reform.
With two Lib Dem councillors already, we can win all three seats this May. ๐ถ
Great to be out today talking with residents. People are glad to see the Beckenham Lib Dems still pushing hard for action on dangerous speeding and taking local concerns seriously. Join our campaign at https://t.co/0OL22Cc1SK
Your Lib Dem Councillors and team are out all year round. We hit a big milestone in Beckenham Town & Copers Cope: 3,000 doors knocked on so far this year.
Talking to residents on the doorstep is the best way to stay focused on the issues that matter most to local people. ๐
We met with the Odeon Manager this evening and have some amazing news โ the cinema will reopen tomorrow! Screens 1 & 2 will remain closed due to water damage. LFB are still on site checking for hot spots (could be another 2 hrs) and police will decide when the road can reopen.
Those familiar with Copers Cope Road won't be surprised. It's a dragstrip which has seen accidents before, and will do again until we do a better job of encouraging safer driving throughout the Borough.

A busy weekend on the doorsteps of Bromley Common & Holwood delivering literature and speaking to residents with our excellent candidate: @LauraMc16268726. Many raised the issue of untidy streets, neglected by @LBofBromley.
Grateful for the warm response we received!
Bizarre response from @BromleyTories to an eminently sensible proposal to get more funding into #Bromley schools. Why not just say "good idea, we're on it" as opposed to being rude and playing stupid games? Disappointing advert for local government. 1/

We had a good session on the doorsteps over the weekend. Lots of useful conversations with residents about planning, Bromley South station and parking.
Thanks to @JefferiesSteven & @ChloeJane_Ross for joining the Bromley Town councillors: Julie, Graeme & Sam. ๐งก
The nights are drawing in, itโs now completely dark for our regular Friday evening survey session. Thanks to everyone we spoke to tonight, your feedback is invaluable. Our residents survey can be completed at https://t.co/0pubXI2vPy
Great to be out on the doorsteps in Orpington recently, speaking to residents about their concerns.
We have another team out today as well. ๐ถ๏ธ

Great to be out in my own back yard with @BromleyLibDems Beckenham campaign team, hearing from residents about the issues that matter to them most. @ChloeJane_Ross
We had a great @LibDems conference in Brighton this week:
- meeting other members, councillors and MPs from London & around the UK
- attending fringe meetings & training sessions.
If you want to help us locally do get in touch or why not join?! #LDconf

Great final weekend of the Hayes and Coney Hall by-election campaign. Thanks for all the help from colleagues in @SevenoaksLibDem, @LewishamLibDems & from @HinaBokhariLD who joined us on the doorsteps. Lots of support from residents for our local candidate Tudor Griffiths. ๐ถ๏ธ๐ณ
Looking forward to the final weekend of the Hayes & Coney Hall by-election campaign: lots of leaflets to deliver and doors to knock on! ๐ถ
Residents can see the difference that Tudor Griffiths would make as a Councillor with new street signs in place and graffiti painted over โคต๏ธ
We had a good weekend on the doorsteps, delivering thousands of leaflets and speaking to hundreds of Hayes and Coney Hall residents about issues like parking & vehicle theft. Tudor Griffiths, our candidate for the upcoming by-election, has lived in Hayes for over 20 years.
