@monstersamerica This is really interesting to me given A24's penchant for folk horror. I've thought of F13 as having folk horror elements, and it'll be really cool if they develop that aspect in the series.
@face_of_gothic That's a fair review. I still love it so much, though. There's a fan edit floating around the Internet called "Legion," which is cut to be more like the novel. If you can find that version it improves things significantly.
Are you planning to watch some scary movies this weekend leading up to Halloween? Monday at 9am @MPRnews, I'll talk about the appeal of horror & creepy things. Guests: @emilyvdw@voxdotcom@JeffreyATolbert@psuharrisburg. Call 651-227-6000 or 800-242-2828.

@devingarofalo That sounds awesome! I'm teaching a course on monsters and the supernatural, and another on American horror films. But oddly (foolishly?), I'm not teaching Dracula in either, & I regret it!
@CraigyBoyT@baconetti Welp, it is folk horror, and I am writing about it as such. Unfortunately I'm doing so in my own book. :( But thanks for the thought!
