inclusion and inspiration, she should be supported and encouraged to present herself and style her hair as true to herself as she wants. People like @itsgabrielleu have inspired my girlfriend to be comfortable in her natural hair in public and @nbc should be a more open minded
@AGT As a huge fan of the show and a boyfriend to a beautiful black woman, the firing of @itsgabrielleu disgusts me. During her first year she was the most honest and real judge on the show giving actual feedback, advice, and support to ALL contestants. Just as she showed support
for the contestants, @nbc should have shown support for her when she disapproved of the comments made by a guest Jay Leno. What disgusts me the most are the rumors that she received notes saying her hair was “too black”. With @itsgabrielleu working on a show that is all about
@ColinCowherd Not awful because you can see the whole field and how the players move. However I initially feel a little disconnected from the game as if I was sitting on the nose bleed seats. The players look small on the screen. Hard to tell who is who.
The “Rich Paul Rule” is racist. So what are Black people & athletes going to do about it? While I didn’t go to an HBCU, my parents & many other family members & colleagues did. Already an integral part of Black empowerment, HBCUs could become MUCH stronger!
@SollyThomas90 Thank you for using your platform and releasing that story. It’s amazing how many people are going through similar horrors. Stay strong and thank you again.
