@rachaelsullivan @sjuhawknews I heard the provost quite differently: Students will *not* be tested before returning to campus -- just self-quarantined. But they *will* be tested sometime within the first week or so *after* arrival (though how many times after that wasn't clear).

@NMAAHC @NationalZoo In addition, @NationalZoo officials resisted Easter Monday tradition for decades, often closing animal houses & hiring extra police on that day alone (despite huge crowds on other holidays & Sundays). Only in last couple decades did zoo embrace "African American Family Day."

@NMAAHC @NationalZoo While Easter Monday at @nationalzoo is a rich, complex DC tradition, story of AA children being excluded from White House event is contradicted by many sources. AA families may have felt unwelcome at White House, but no official ban. As tradition grew, story of "ban" emerged.
