@KVanValkenburg I see stories like this - all too often - and it explains why I decided not to retire, but instead write and talk about the great game of golf in Canada (at least until they put me in a box)
Being one of the subjects of a story is admittedly uneasy. But this is so incredibly nice of Michael Bamberger, one of the all time best in golf. Thanks to those who have reached out here and elsewhere. It is much appreciated. More to come.

The brother of Bobby, and uncle to Brett and Bart, he played 13 seasons for the Blackhawks. He was also a pivotal role in helping Canada win the 1972 Summit Series.
