My first NYC Pride in my role as the LGBTQIA+ Liaison for @SpeakerMenin’s Office and the @NYCCouncil is officially in the books! 🏳️🌈
This is only the beginning. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve this community, and help make Pride even bigger and bolder! Happy Pride, NYC!
Twenty-five years after 9/11, roughly a third of New Yorkers have no firsthand memory of that day.
We have a responsibility to ensure the next generation knows the stories of those we lost, the extraordinary acts of heroism, and the resilience New Yorkers showed as we rebuilt.
That’s why the @NYCCouncil is investing $1 million in the @Sept11Memorial, to provide free field trips to all NYC school students.

🚨 IT’S OFFICIAL: Year-round outdoor dining is now the law in New York City.
Today, @NYCMayor signed the New York City Council’s legislation making outdoor dining permanently year-round and ending costly seasonal tear-downs for restaurants.
This is a major win for small businesses, restaurant workers, and New Yorkers who love dining outdoors. 🥂
Bill Maher made a joke about Ariana Grande’s weight during Friday’s episode of “Real Time,” and drew mixed reactions from his live audience:
“The administration this week, just a few days ago, maybe yesterday, unleashed a new trove of UFO files. Interesting things in there. Triangular craft, weird lights over an army base, a stick-like figure with large eyes. Oh, that was just an Ariana Grande video. Please, we kid. We kid. Maybe that joke will make her eat something.”

This is flat out a lie.
The markets are on FDA approvals, which help researchers and investors develop life-saving drugs more effectively and faster.
I'm here if you want to learn more about these markets and how they can bring more transparency and efficiency to a complex industry.
@PazzaMamma9@danielsgoldman@RoKhanna This is like a comment a high school character from Mean Girls would say and think it’s a “burn”. It’s literally not. The only one that’s hateful here is you. And it’s not your color.

Timothée Chalamet said no one cares about ballet anymore.
@BrooklynBallet begs to differ — and so does the City Council, which just invested almost $6 million in the Brooklyn Ballet Center. 🩰
Congratulations to 16-year-old guitarist Jojo Roses! Honored to present an @NYCCouncil Citation on behalf of @SpeakerMenin last night at Carnegie Hall following her outstanding performance with NYO Jazz. 🎸👏🏽 The future of jazz is bright! ✨
I am absolutely sickened and furious by what appears to be an antisemitic stabbing on the Upper West Side.
While we await additional details to be confirmed, we know that what is happening in our city is abhorrent. The fear in the Jewish community is real. Every New Yorker deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood, regardless of their faith or identity.
We must remain united in condemning antisemitism and ensuring those responsible are held fully accountable. I thank the NYPD for its swift response in apprehending the assailant.
My prayers are with the victims and their loved ones.
Not only do we stand by our reporting. Madison Square Garden’s ridiculous lawsuit actually confirms it, noting the company did, in fact, track the sexual orientation of LGBTQIA celebrities in its talent database.
