Let's get this straight: There is no such thing as a "ghost runner" in MLB. Ghost runners were something we had in the backyard/sandlot baseball when we didn't have enough players to run the bases and hit. "Free runner", "extra runner", and/or " "bonus runner" would all be ok.

There is a BIG difference between a Play-by_Play announcer and an analyst. Brad Thompson, Jim Edmond are not P-B-P guys. Horton has grown into the job as a former color man. He is a nice guy but just doesn't have the pipes for P-B-P.
