Will Faith Kipyegon 🇰🇪 become the first woman to break 4 minutes in the mile?

She will be attempting the impossible tomorrow at the Stade Charléty in Paris, where she has set 2 World Records in the last two years .

The current World Record, which she set in 2023, is 4:07.64.

She is expected to have a mix of both male & female pacers, with World/Olympic medallists such as Grant Fisher, Elliot Giles, Georgia Hunter Bell, Halimah Nakaayi, Cooper Teare and Craig Engels seen training in Paris for the event.

To help with her pursuit of the running holy grail, she'll have:

– Custom 85g spikes (carbon plate, titanium pins)
– A 3D-printed suit with drag-reducing "aeronodes"
– A bra + headband engineered for airflow

She is training partners with marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge who broke the 2-hour barrier for the marathon in 2019, from prototype trainers and a laser pointer guiding his optimum position, to pace makers and a specially selected course.
