Years after the Cold War ended, an aging CIA agent met up with an old KGB rival for a friendly drink.
“I have to admit, I was always so impressed by Soviet propaganda,” says the CIA spy. “You really know how to get people worked up.”
“Thanks,” replies the KGB officer, “but it's nothing compared to American propaganda — your people believe everything your state media tells them!”
CIA agent drops his drink in shock and looks at his colleague with horror. “You must be confused. There's no state media in America!”
