@Pete93143117 @EssexgoonerMr Not sure that this is Labour's tax trap. It has been a thing for much longer than Labour have been in power. It was the same under the previous government that is now jumping ship to Reform. The actual question is what to do about the loss of revenue if you remove tax.
@implausibleblog Starmer is head of the British Government, and the UK has a relationship with the US through treaties. He cannot just publicly condemn an ally, regardless of his personal feelings.
Thanks @greatnorthern hold 8pm the 2246 to letchworth for no reason at moorgate for 15 minutes for no reason. Not funny when @greateranglia can't run due to flooded tracks and won't organise busses.
@EalingCouncil And how much money do you rake in due to the inadequate signage? My own council tax is high enough as it is without topping yours up too because the signs weren't obvious. Put the signs at drivers eye view, not 10ft high.
@zarahsultana People demonstrated in the streets, albeit organised by some right wing fascists. Perhaps if you supported the government, you wrre elected to be part of, to improve people's lives rather than constantly stabbing them in the back and facilitating the rise of reform...
@kevdod1@EdwardJDavey The only reason Reform are so high in the polls is the amount of coverage Farage gets, without being properly challenged. He has stored out of interviews when journalists ask about details. Reform UK in government would be a disaster, purely because they have no real experience.
@Adam00872774@GuillermElodie We don't have open borders. The whole open borders thing has been blown out of proportion and used to push damaging political ideologies.
@owenjonesjourno It is probably quicker and cheaper to just hire out a hotel building, as that has ready made facilities like sanitation and a kitchen to make basic food.
@David75234833 @bestcanton7 Corbyn supporters, on the other hand, seem to hate everyone else. You need to be better than that, otherwise you are just like other populists shouting "you did socialist wrong"
@Samuelg74430247@FionaMRobinson3@day156324 Official Government figures report 19000 people have been deported. These include failed asylum seekers, foreign criminals, and people with no right to be here.
