A nice long interview with that doctor who recently spoke with Sajid. Need to watch the whole thing, but it's worth it for an insight into the thought process behind at least his decision.
@alexbloor@colincameron_ Not really no. I'm going to try and find a group on Facebook or telegram that these people belong to (must be one somewhere) to try and talk to some of these people directly.
@alexbloor@colincameron_ Your decision for your body is just that, your decision, and should be respected by all.
But mandating something for anyone else is quite different. As I said before. I want to hear from these NHS staff that don't want it. On mass. Not just one or two. I want to know why.
@alexbloor Exactly. Why would they refuse it? Why would they be prepared to lose their job over it? I really want to hear from those people. Listen to their reasons.
@alexbloor No worries. These conversations are difficult to have online. Part of why I think people who are pro and people who are anti this particular jab misunderstand each others intentions a great deal.
@alexbloor Their agendas are openly viewable. They don't hide their long term goals. I don't believe mandating this is about health and therefore do not support it. Essentially. The virus exists, but its a part of a much bigger picture.
@alexbloor Not in the history of the word and the history of vaccines themselves. I believe this is a therapy. It can help. That's it. Help. Therefore should it be mandated for anyone - no. If it actually stopped the spread, stopped death etc I might think differently. But we're not there.
@alexbloor That was a bit harsh. Let me explain. A vaccine traditionally provides immunity. Yes, some breakthrough to be expected. There is a hell of a lot of breakthrough amongst double, even triple vaccinated so I don't think you can reasonably call it a vaccine. A 'therapy' perhaps.
@alexbloor Why wouldn't I research into something like this? Educate myself. Why wouldn't I question what I've been told - from both sides of the coin. For anyone to ask me to put blind faith in to any government that has been proven to lie, is surely the crazy one?
@alexbloor I've looked at a lot at official data, read reports from various scientists/doctors. Agree to disagree with you. 17,000 had no combordities. That's recently been released (ONS). Average age of death is 80.
Vaccination=freedom? Nah dude. Compliance gives an illusion of freedom.
@alexbloor Not really misreporting when the data backs it up but fact checkers will say what they're going to say. I mean, why do people still want/even demand others to get this vaccine? Are they scared? Do they think it wil get them their freedoms back?
@alexbloor 'helps'. the ceo of Pfizer has recently said it doesn't really help at all these days. Efficacy wanes drastically and offers little protection against omicron. So. Is a mandate about health then? There are risks involved.
