@FossardMr Year 5 teacher @JemmaAnderson12 has created a βclassroom economyβ: βI wanted to incentivise children to look after our classroom and work hard. We had an in-depth discussion about respect and decided talking over someone else would be a Β£2.50 fineβ

@MissHPrimary_@MrTs_NQTs We use classroom economy. We discussed what expectations (behaviour included), what they could "buy" what had to be paid out etc. They had ownership and knew they could be "fined" for things that weren't agreed on. Might be enough!
What an improvement! He has been working hard on his fine motor skills since November. Using a highlighter to support his space awareness when writing has been a game change.
@primaryteachmrt @PaulGarvey4@deputygrocott @brassoteach @MrTs_NQTs@HalilMrT4Real They are excited to come in first thing to see what they will be creating that morning so it's a race to get in and hands washed and choose what they want to do
@primaryteachmrt @PaulGarvey4@deputygrocott @brassoteach @MrTs_NQTs@HalilMrT4Real I was really shocked at the results! They are a great but chatty class, but having that 30 minutes to play really settles them and they run out of things to chat about so are ready to learn haha! Also gives them time to chat to me about anything too
