Jemsar expands its services to steelwork and piping with the arrival of a new project manager. With several steelwork and piping jobs complete, involving on-site machine cutting and welding, we're keen to move into these new areas. Thanks to J&M for the fabrication of steelwork.
At home, our employees are given opportunities to further their skills with online training from the ECITB. In a key industry we continue to provide services to essential projects, strictly adhering to social distancing practices and the use of appropriate PPE and RPE.
A pandemic will do many things but it won't dampen Jemsar's desire to provide an excellent mechanical service wherever possible. We've furloughed nearly all of our workforce now and have retained 100% of our team on the books under the UK Government's job retention scheme.
March 17th, early morning and a new piece of the refinery skyline is appearing, with a Jemsar flag flying as our team of mechanical engineers and rigging professionals carefully place this 60 tonne vessel down on the concrete plinth. Watch the time-lapse: https://t.co/NUmn6g8eBd
