@AvonandsomerRob St Andrews has a lovely caravan park.
Some in Scotland are full of neds but, being the University town of Kate & Wills (!) it is very nice.
They are ideal if you have dogs mind you, especially if they are beside a beach.
I wouldn’t buy one though, just rent.
