Hello twitter friends. If you are interested in commenting on our research, please do! We've done 7 big studies since the 2024 election. We don't post as much here these days for obvious reasons, like having to drop a link in the thread because algorithm. So:
I probably would have rolled my eyes at this tweet in January, but it’s important to stay open minded to findings from new (high quality) data that comes out that may not necessarily align with your priors.
A lot of the leading voices in the party suffer from confirmation bias.
I think it’s important to revisit your priors after an election to see where reality diverged. It helps to learn and grow.
My priors for Trump vs. Harris were pretty far off in many cases and I was nervous about making a prediction this time
But let’s take it piece by piece: 🧵
We have gone from the margin of error to the margin of effort.
On the day before the election, we stand on the verge of toppling a political dynasty and winning a city we can afford. But we can only do it with you.
This Saturday June 14th - NO KINGS❌👑 - peaceful, huge, fun protests! We mad an ad to help get the word out about the events, and about what Trump's been up to. (hint: not working for you) Please share!
ken prob shouldnt have said it aloud. but leaking it was shitty.
politics is fucking hard — the stakes are dire, systems are broken & the work often feels impossible
ive questioned it, most operatives likely have. but we lament, then stay. bc it matters. its hard bc it matters.
Californians pay the bills for the federal government.
We pay over $80 BILLION more in taxes than we get back.
Maybe it’s time to cut that off, @realDonaldTrump.
ok but this campaign launch from @abughazalehkat ?!
THIS is how you announce you’re running for office in 2025.
refreshingly honest, clear-eyed, deeply values-driven — and actually exciting in a way politics rarely is anymore.
(unsurprisingly) so, so good.

Natalie Harp, one of President-elect Trump’s closest aides who takes loyalty to a whole new level, is expected to join him in the White House.
In this clip, Trump can be seen dictating social media posts to Harp while watching Kamala Harris’ speech at the DNC Convention.
Harp is known to follow Trump around with a printer and battery pack so she can share positive news stories and social media posts with him on paper.
Trump aides have been concerned about her because she provides an unrestricted flow of information to Trump, including conspiracy theory stories.
In 2023, Harp sent a series of letters to Mr. Trump that unnerved people around him.
“You are all that matters to me. I don’t ever want to let you down.”
In another letter, she told Mr. Trump that she wanted to get back to “that synergy” she used to have with him, where “we’d talk about everything and nothing.”
“I want to bring you joy…to feel like we can get through a day without ever having to talk ‘work.’”

My opening statement at last night's final candidate forum.
If I'm DNC chair, we will fight back with the intensity, focus, and fury this moment demands.
During the first week of Trump 2.0, too many elected Dems have been silent. They seem to be waiting for the exact right message. But if there is one lesson from the Trump era, it’s this: when it comes to messaging, volume and frequency are vastly more important than precision.
Saying nothing is worse than saying the wrong thing.
Just get out there and start talking. No slogans, no jargon, just talk like a human; and talk about Trump.
