Pobble 365 is a great resource that can be used in many ways. There is a lesson linked to the image or they can be used for imaginative writing. My personal favourite, is to use the image as a stimulus to create a drama piece! 🎭#acuedu_p #keepinglessonsfun #engaging

This was a fun science experiment I used on a casual day. It is a quick and easy reward for students which they loved! Also, great to fill some time! I kept it open-ended as students made their own design and they all made a different pattern after the water was added! #acuedu_p

Last day of school, term 1 calls for Easter craft. The students loved designing and constructing their bunny's. They also loved designing and placing their easter eggs however they liked. Year one had a blast with this open-ended Easter craft. #acuedu_p *(before and after shown)*

It is highly important that on a casual day, you get the marking of the day complete and don't leave it for the class teacher when they return. Make sure to have your own resources. These are some of mine which I keep in a folder and take with me every casual day!🙌 #acuedu_p

Today I had my first casual day! The teacher left some work for me although I was left in the deep end a little bit regarding the students behaviour/special needs and the changes in the routine. It was still a successful and fun day and is a great learning curve. #acuedu_p
