What goes into decisions about closings or delays? Our Inclement Weather Team monitors forecasts, talks with NCDOT & NCHP, then fans out to survey the 500+ miles of roads in Burke. Safety is No. 1. Inexperienced student drivers, students on buses & staff are our main concerns.

One teacher in particular is encouraging people to donate using #ClearTheList to find teacher's Amazon wish lists or donate to a GoFundMe page to help these teachers cover costs.
