Super disappointed with @united Airlines ! We have adopted an abandoned puppy in Moorea (French Polynesia) and they will not allow me to bring her on the plane with us. They falsely claim that French Polynesia is a high risk Rabies country (which it is not! There is no rabies! (check the CDC website!) Despite having been told that they would make an exception, they have gone back on their word. I now am scrambling to get her home. I will have to cancel my flight with @united and re-book with Air Tahiti Nui, spend additional money on another ticket and travel by myself with her. Not to mention an 12hour stop over in Los Angeles. You would think that United /UNITED AIRLINES would actually verify when making false claims of rabid countries!!!
We have had her vaccinated with all of the required vaccines, microchipped, de-wormed/flea/tick and filled out all of the required documentation to get her home etc SUPER DISAPPOINTED IN #UnitedAirlines!!! If anyone has any pull with this company, please let me know! PLEASE SHARE! #bringmooreyhome @united
