More than 1,000 principals across Ontario say they're seeing more behavioural issues, lack of self-regulation, and unaddressed mental health challenges with no access to social workers and psychologists, a survey finds. https://t.co/nNctM2QXum
All who learn & work in ON schools deserve to do so in safe conditions!
The Ford gov needs to provide full funding for anti-violence training programs + hire mental health support staff to address violence in & around schools

Here's a look inside the Ontario Legislature as CUPE members protested the government's unprecedented use of the notwithstanding clause to force a contract on 55,000 education support workers.

NEW: Ford government sources say the province is unlikely to go after individual CUPE members who strike on Friday with a $4,000 fine
It would go against the Premier’s brand, sources say, of sticking up for the little guy. (Not my words)

You always have a choice Lecce.
Once again you are choosing to leave the table and impose an unreasonable contract on the lowest paid workers in the education system! #Shame
Another $365M that could have been used to strengthen public education in Ontario! The total payments to parents over the past 2 years must be at or above $2 billion dollars! Money that is desperately needed for supports and resources in the Ontario education system!
So the Ford govt is taking $365 MILLION out of schools & classrooms in order to hand it out to parents for... Tutoring? iPads? Cost of Living?
Lecce couldn't clearly say what this money is for... But we know where it's really needed and that's in the classroom!
