@NATREupdate@TheREPodcast1 Thank you to @TheREPodcast1 for pointing out that inclusion = social justice. I'm motivated to use the research to ensure SEND children feel safe and learn happily in our RE classrooms.
Huge thanks to @rroyal110 for talking to our Southampton Secondary RE network group yesterday on how we can inspire our GCSE RS students to study at A Level. Your passion for the subject's academic value is infectious. We all took a lot away from your session. Thank you! #TeamRE
@TheREPodcast1@SteeleHeidi I shall be sharing this with all of our Year 10s - thank you for spot lighting this! Great to hear how RE has been useful to a people in a variety of careers! #TeamRE
So pleased to be able to share this episode about how RE a-level has prepared young people for life and their careers - teaching critical thinking and decision making. Please share widely! @SteeleHeidi https://t.co/6vzMr2Vdbn

Habemus Papam! We have a Pope!
The Cardinals gathered in the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel have elected Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost as the 267th Pope, who took the name Pope Leo XIV.
@mouthymary@CNewmanTeach So in a class discussion, a student may say something aloud which isn't quite thought through and may come out wrong. 'Oops, ouch' is a strategy to keep the climate safe and friendly as it signals that it is ok to fail and try again. Great idea eh?!
Thank you @CNewmanTeach for giving us some great tips for setting up and conducting excellent dialogue around controversial issues in RE. Especially ❤️ 'oops ouch' for slip ups! #StrictlyRE
Hooray! Passed my NPQLT! 🎉
Highly recommend doing this with @Ambition_Inst especially if you are HOD or Subject Lead. It was a great course and really well structured. Really has helped me in my role. #NPQLT
My 1st #StrictlyRE did not disappoint! I was challenged to think A LOT, reminded about the importance of RE, met some inspiring RE legends and felt a wonderful warm sense of community. I will take a renewed sense of enthusiasm into my classroom tomorrow. Thank you @NATREupdate

@RE_McGEE@re_runner Well, I'm on it already! Apparently a Franciscan Friary was founded in 1233 and created a water supply system which they shared with the inhabitants of Southampton. How cool is that?!
Very lucky to have had @RE_McGEE present on her fascinating RE curriculum at our Southampton Secondary School's RE Network meeting this afternoon. This will inspire us to consider our local context in our own planning. Thank you Nikki!
