#K2Cuties conducted an experiment with grass this month. Ss worked in groups of 4 with one group giving the grass water, soil, and sun. The other groups left out sun, water, or soil. What a great way to demonstrate how plants make food from the sun!

#K2Cuties @StemMcKinley explored animal tracks at Oxbow Park and found some amazing signs of animal life on our nature walk (food scraps, fur, and bones)! We even saw some 💩 but learned that scientists call it scat. Fun day with fun kids!

K2 Cuties explored 2D and 3D shapes using toothpicks and marshmallows. Add some fun technology and you've got yourself an engaging lesson that allows you to float from table to table while listening to 6 year olds coach and share strategies.

I have a favorite ride at the fair and wanted to know if my Kindergarten friends would be tall enough to ride! I had sticky notes in my purse and measured to find out they had to be 12 sticky notes tall to ride!! Look at these strategies!

Friday was #PumpkinDay in #K2! We counted the number of seeds by putting them into groups of 10. Our pumpkin had 507 seeds! AND DID YOU KNOW PUMKINS FLOAT!?!? We ended our fun with a fall party and enjoyed games, treats, and giggles!
