I haven’t seen enough of the city to know how overall walkable and bikeable it is. Like many cities, it probably depends on the neighborhood. Lovely wide sidewalks though!

Washington DC has startlingly wide streets, especially since they were planned before motorized vehicles. There is SO MUCH SPACE for bike lanes!

A good number of streets do have separated bike lanes. I hope they put them everywhere. I’m less convinced about two-way bike lanes unless they were significantly wider.

I’m not worries about Trump’s feelings. These comments contribute to the culture where assault or the threat of it are used to keep people in line. If you see it, shut that shit down.
