I'm torn between thinking we've entered a mass psychosis where no tech company realizes how much massively worse this all looks, and thinking they're all 100% aware but have to keep churning this garbage as the only economic engine left no matter the reputational cost
I've come to the conclusion that the people who unironically like and advocate for this stuff are simply mentally ill. There has to be some genuine detachment from humanity.
