@clhubes Maybe you can set up a way for him to "earn" it. Even 3 year olds can help out if they are motivated. This might also help him feel like a big kid.
@clhubes It gets easier! Mine are 17, 14.5, and 12.5 now, and despite the stereotype that tween/teen years are hard I find them to be delightfully easy compared with the stage you are going through right now. They can cook! One can drive! They can wipe their own butts! They love to sleep!
@davidfrum Considering the increasing proportion of people who have high-deductible health plans (which don't pay anything until the insured person pays the first X thousands of $$), we need to remember that it is often the insured patient who will be paying these high prices in full.
@LouiseMensch Because the time from contracting the disease to death is often 2-3 weeks, you need to use the "tested positive" figure from 2-3 weeks ago as the denominator.
@tribelaw The deaths are generally of people who have had the disease for 2-3 weeks, so you need to use the case figure from 2-3 weeks ago as the denominator. (In addition to the factors others have cited such as disparities in testing.)
