Working from home can be challenging when your routines are interrupted by others in your household taking a vacation. I love them and glad they are off but my brain gets scrambled and I get unproductive.

Earlier tonight, my mother, Anne Rice, passed away due to complications resulting from a stroke. She left us almost nineteen years to the day my father, her husband Stan, died. Below is a statement I posted to her Facebook page moments ago.

@proudwhore_ I'll have to look it up because there was an interview of Cumberbatch where he said he did everything that they showed. So I'll hope for the prosthetics and film magic that the horse was being hit like that.

I had to stop watching The Power if the Dog movie because I couldn't watch an actor really abuse and scare a horse. I later learned he castrated a bull for real on film strictly for art. Glad I didn't see that.
