@mcgills_east worst possible end to an afternoon in Edinburgh yesterday when all buses disappeared off the app at 5.30 pm and had to pay £20 for a taxi home to Ratho from the park and ride. Absolutely rubbish bus 'service'.

I don't consider myself in any way racist but I have a genuine interest in what someone's journey to Britain has been. I can't think of a time when I've felt the need to ask "where are you from ", but when I travel around the world it's the first question anyone asks me.

@mcgillseast when our bus service is only once an hour, drivers really can't leave early. No. 20 17.31 left Edinburgh Park Station 7 mins early on Saturday to Ratho, meaning a further 1 hour wait! Spoilt a good day out!

@mcgillswest the idea of running a bus service is not to get to the end as quick as poss but to pick up passengers on the way. No. 20 Ratho bus left at least 7 mins early this evening from Edinburgh Park Station and was at the Gyle at 17.31 when it should have been picking us up.

@FirstBusnews I can't believe my complaint was dismissed like this! Your customer service is as bad as your bus service. I rarely feel compelled to complain but am absolutely fizzing with rage.

@FirstBusnews appalling no. 20 Ratho service. 3pm bus didn't arrive so a half hour wait, worse still had to shell out £20 on taxi as 9.30pm didn't arrive. Busiest month in Edinburgh and folk can't get home.
