“Snowman technique” - reband atop of a prior band ligation in order to maximize tissues capture.
I don’t do this often but I have found it to be effective each time.

Anecdotally I do find the resulting scar to be quite prominent and durable.

✔️ 8 centers, 385 patients
✔️ Higher PPG seen in EV, thrombocytopenia and portal HTN gastropathy
✔️EUS-PPG best overall predictor of biopsy proven cirrhosis compared to FIB-4 and APRI
