#claymontpl thanks for some new ideas about how to use chrome books in first grade!

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

Thanks Ann for doing this! So glad I participated and have the book! #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

@RobynBricker completely agree. That would be awesome if there was one for writing!!!!! #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

A4 the lang is so specific, and referring regularly to charts has really helped my kids with engagement and conversation #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

@RobynBricker @annlopiccolo great idea!!!!! #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

@annlopiccolo yep! Definitely should! There are so many good ones and only so much wall space! #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

I am a chart-y person so I love them and use them often. I haven't yet tried small ones for specific kids. Need to. #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

@RobynBricker I got a compliment from Nancy B about one of my charts. had to tell her that I totally copied it from this book! #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

@annlopiccolo seeing the charts ready and right there is extremely helpful. #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

@MauraJohann I do the same thing. Extremely helpful to have the skill and levels listed at a glance. #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

@RobynBricker I really feel like most of this is good whole group lessons for first grade. It is all new to all of them! #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

I also like some of goal 5 and have used it for retelling. P 134-137. I agree it is hard to pick. So many good things here! #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

The engagement chapt is my fave. I've used these whole group. In first grade everyone needs to learn it. Even high readers. #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

I am here! #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

A4 it is like a recipe book. realistic levels for each lesson. The verbage is very clear and breaks down info for kids. #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

Maura I agree with the language on p 59. I like the wake up your brain chart!!! #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

A3 I also like p 51 keep your eyes and mind in the book #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

Also Reread to get back into your book p 50. Totally teach that in writing but never THIS specific in reading #duh #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

I used keep the line alive on page 338. That was toward the end of our talk unit. #claymontpl

[Jen Whitener @JenWhitener]

A2 the talk unit I taught some whole group lessons from goal 12. I will start that unit diff in the future with these lessons. #claymontpl
