India has everything it needs to dominate Washington lobbying.
It just hasn't connected the dots. ๐งต
๐๏ธ The assets already exist:
145+ Congress members in the India Caucus
5M+ Indian-Americans (highest earning diaspora)
USISPF, Tata, Infosys, Wipro employing lakhs of Americans
Adani's $10B+ in US ports, energy & airports
One coordinated push could unlock โ
๐ The ask list:
โ Zero tariffs & trade deal
โ Defense tech transfer & co-production
โ CAATSA waiver (S-400 sanctions โ gone)
โ H-1B & skilled visa reform
โ Semiconductor & AI research partnerships
โ Critical mineral supply chain access
โ Fast-tracked FDI approvals
๐ง How to actually build it:
โ Indian-American orgs unite under ONE agenda
โ USISPF becomes coordination spine, not just a networking club
โ Diaspora PACs fund campaigns in swing districts
โ Indian corporates hire top DC lobbying firms
โ Joint ventures with Lockheed, GE create shared lobby interest
๐ก The Israel model isn't about foreign money โ that's illegal.
It's about domestic constituents making noise with a unified ask.
Indian-Americans are 10% of all US doctors. Tata & Infosys employ more Americans than most US firms.
That's leverage. Uncollected.
India doesn't lack assets.
It lacks architecture. ๐ฎ๐ณ
Build that. Everything else follows.
Please cancel the work visas. Where are the new Tech and Finance jobs? A laid-off accountant cannot pivot to working in healthcare or in a coal plant. We have surrendered some of our best white-collar jobs to foreign workers. H-4 EAD should not exist when we have so many unemployed American workers. America First.
@PA71A2@HouseForeignGOP@Heritage@SteveYates India has a huge opioid crisis of 22 million users. So, whatever. We wish Indians well in India. We don't need any of your hardworking H-1Bs.
@SanDiegoKnight@SenEricSchmitt@RepChipRoy It's positively cruel to the laid-off Americans who are desperate for jobs. Hopes are raised, then dashed repeatedly. Meanwhile, foreign workers sit in our former offices...
@WhiteHouse@SecretaryBurgum@SecretaryWright@epaleezeldin@POTUS Will the laid-off tech workers and accountants now be working at the coal plants? We have surrendered many of our best white-collar jobs to foreigners - many with fake qualifications. By the way, many of them have disdain for Americans and mock your Administration.
I've reached the point where I don't want any immigration at all. The foreign work visas should be canceled, and the illegal aliens should be mass-deported. The amount of fraud and corruption... the taking of jobs, the looting of social services, the arrogance, the entitlement... Enough.
How about the foreign visas? Why are they still being stamped, and green cards issued? The fraud and ethnic nepotism are off the charts. Americans are being laid off in droves. @POTUS should visit some corporate IT and Finance departments. They look like Chennai or Bangalore workplaces. I voted for America First.
Yet, our corporate workplaces look like they are in Bangalore. So many Americans are unemployed or underemployed. Visas are still being stamped, and green cards are still being issued. Americans are being laid off in droves. The IT body shops, consultancies, and solutions companies need to be shut down. The gains are not in the stable white-collar jobs that Americans built careers in. Accounting, finance, banking, pharma...
USCIS Blocks Green Card Shortcut for Overstayers and Parolees - one group I hadn't thought of that could be affected - laid-off H-1Bs, who should go home but often try to stick around. https://t.co/8SbyGTFJc5 via @CIS_org
@RealCalvin1 People here on a temporary 3 year VISAs get 30 year mortgages because they don't plan on making them leave. HR people post desperate calls to help Indians find new jobs because "they have a house here" while they blow past homeless American professionals. Happens every day.
