After contracting COVID a couple of weeks into the school year his dad had to bring him to the hospital because he cannot breath.

Ugly numbers from the past 3 days, including 100+ deaths. South Carolina has soared past the first peak last summer in cases and soon in deaths. It appears to be heading toward a run at the all-time peak last winter.

The current trend line for new cases is basically identical to the first wave in SC in mid-June 2020. An increasing upward curve.
Factoring in the vaxxed population, that means the risk for unvaccinated folks is actually on avg. higher today than it was 13 months ago.
