@acheck_step @SassyPr88568654 @PierrePoilievre@ABDanielleSmith@LeslynLewis@MelissaLantsman I still think it’s important to consider that not being a donor means that if (god forbid) you got into an accident and died and they could manage to save an organ - you would rather let someone die then donate it. That’s what the protest means.
@acheck_step @SassyPr88568654 @PierrePoilievre@ABDanielleSmith@LeslynLewis@MelissaLantsman I don’t understand this stance. People die daily waiting for organ transplants (I am part of a family with kidney disease) - why would you let people die in order to protest a policy?
@fuelled_by_tea_@NMspinach@adhdjesse This comment is untrue. Most dogs are abandoned because they were improperly trained or cared for by their owners - or post Covid, they went to work and didn’t want them - period. You can support breeding without putting down rescue dogs.
#truestory - 26yo woman with 3 kids presents with malignant brain tumor and she's pregnant. She needs surgery, radiation and chemotherapy that she can't get while pregnant. Women deserve autonomy over their bodies and access to abortions. Yes, this affects #neurosurgery too.
Lemme get this straight, @iamjohnoliver...
You're MORE PISSED at DEMOCRATS than you are at the Republicans who MADE THIS HAPPEN??
Ya DAMN RIGHT we're fundraising. WE'VE GOT TO GET READY TO SPEND MONEY TO DRIVE PEOPLE TO THE POLLS THIS NOVEMBER!!!
Ain't doing it for our health
Compostable is the goal. Or reusable. Not recyclable (unless efficient) nor biodegradable. No one needs anything that “biodegrades” into microplastics.
Three weeks ago, I had a miscarriage. I was six weeks pregnant. I live in Texas, a state that has effectively banned abortions.
A thread about what it is to cease to be pregnant in a state where abortions are banned:
The U.S. Supreme Court has confirmed the draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade is genuine.
Roe v. Wade ensures a woman’s right to choose to have an abortion. It is clear that opponents of Roe want to punish women and take away their rights to make decisions about their bodies.
861 people died as a result of pregnancy in 2020. This number is up 18% compared to 2019.
We cant be forcing carrying pregnancies when we cant even keep people alive during childbirth.
@BrettJohn17 @alsmith75146234 @FinchTH This is possible (unvaxxed getting it less) but you’d have to isolate behavior and population. Are more unvaxxed in less dense areas and situations? Are vaxxed people assuming they are safe and taking bigger risks (the helmet problem)? W/o all the factors this isn’t compelling
