You’re right. I saw them. I took vacation days off from my day job and visited this government RV storage location in Florida. We begged for these RVs for the families we are trying to help. We told them we had a 103 yo WWII veteran who lost his home to #Helene and who needed shelter. Our collective tax dollars paid for these RVs but our efforts to secure even 1 of these “government RVs” for a WWII Veteran was fruitless. “He lives in a floodplain…that’s against regulations…sorry we can’t help you or him”. We learned a valuable lesson that day. We only have each other and can get things done more quickly and efficiently by working together, people helping people is how the good work gets done. We found a veteran rv donor and the WWII veteran who recently celebrated his 104th birthday now has shelter. @EmergencyRv
